This was by far the best day sail I’ve been on in the Caribbean. Capt Jay and his crew, Rachel, had us spoiled by their hospitality with an unending array of delicious snacks, a catered lunch and, of course, an open bar. But the best part of the day was the sailing and snorkeling to uninhabited spots around St. John. It was as if we were the only people on the ocean! We were a small group of just 6, so it was as if we were family out for a beautiful day on the water. I highly recommend this excursion if you’re in the area for a day or a week! The Helios is a beautiful boat, well maintained, and very comfy. I will definitely be meeting up with Capt Jay and his boat again!

My husband and I were down in June where we had the opportunity to go sailing. It was my first time ever being on a sail boat and it was beautiful! Sailing is unlike anything else and so peaceful. Such a great experience and can’t wait to do it again!

A must-do while in St. John or St. Thomas! Captain Jay and his crew are super friendly, accommodating and knowledgable about the islands. The atmosphere was laidback but active with a balance of snorkeling/swimming and sunbathing/drinking. Top-notch experience with good food, awesome drinks, interesting stories. We highly recommend to anyone looking for a fun day on water!

I had the pleasure of sailing on Helios with captain Jay last month and oh what a treat it was! It was a ladies sunset sail around the beautiful cays of the USVI. First of all, the boat is absolutely gorgeous. (I'm a sucker for a Hinckley!) It is well equipped and very comfortable. 
Jay is a seasoned sailor with loads of experience and knowledge. He is a genuinely nice guy and easy to be around. 
Our sunset snacks and beverages were wonderful as well. What more could we ask for? Oh, the sunset... that was stunning. 
All in all, fun, relaxing and memorable. I'm ready for another

A must do on St John or St Thomas! Captain Jay and Rachel really know how to make your vacation unforgettable. They make you feel like family the moment you step on to the boat. We had 2 amazing sailing days in the Caribbean. Whether your first sail or 25th sail this will be one of your top sailing days. Captian Jay’s knowledge of the waters and sailing astounding. Rachel’s hospitality with her beautiful smile providing snacks and a “never empty glass” of beverages makes everyone feel so pampered and special. So, put Sail Helios on your bucket list! Helio's is a beautiful boat and Captain Jay is the best!! He has lived in the Virgin Islands for almost 15 years with his wife and kids. He knows all the best kept secrets and places to go. Whatever you want, he will make happen. The snorkeling around St John was incredible. Our favorite was seeing all the turtles. I highly recommend a day trip or sunset sail with Captain Jay, you won't be disappointed. It was our favorite day by far!!
